Frequently Asked Questions

What documentation should I bring with me?

Passport and motorcycle driving license. For those tours that take place in Spain, France and Portugal, citizens of EU-member States are not required to carry a passport, however, we recommend always bringing it with you. For participants from outside the EU, it is compulsory to bring your passport. For the Morocco tour, all participants must carry a valid passport which must be valid for at least 6 months.

How much luggage should I bring?

Motohire Spain will provide a support van on the longer tours (Morocco for example) for your excess gear and anything you might buy along the way. Most tours however are autonomous (no support vehicle) so you’ll be expected to fit your gear into the top box and 2 side panniers.

Can I request a private or custom tour?

Of course. Motohire Spain will design a custom tour based on your needs. You’ll be able to choose the area, region, the time and route that you would like to cover. Our team will custom-design a route that best fits your expectations so that you can make the most of your experience. There is a minimum number of participants required for a private tour.

What clothes should I bring?

Comfortable motorcycle gear is what you’ll be wearing most days, on your bike. So bring a helmet, riding gear, lightweight rain gear, bathing suit, t-shirts, jeans or sport pants and some sweaters and another top to keep you warm. Some kind of snood is always popular to stop chafing round the neck.
